Department of Hospitality, Tourism & Events Program with more than 21,500 students, Metropolitan State University of Denver has the second-largest undergraduate student population in Colorado. is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization whose purposes include expanding scholarship opportunities for individuals pursuing their post-secondary education in food service or hospitality related careers; supporting the Colorado ProStart Program, a nationally certified foodservice/hospitality education and mentoring program currently being carried out in 28 Colorado high schools and serving nearly 850 students annually.
